Privacy Policy Related to Consulting Clients.

By its nature, consulting provides expertise and advice to clients. Consultants who are serious about their ethics understand that this effectively implies some level of knowledge transfer. Sinclair prides itself on providing deep industry expertise garnered from numerous sources, but acknowledges that, in some cases, knowledge transfer means that “lessons learned” from previous clients may be “taught” to current or future clients.  In such cases, Sinclair makes every effort to protect proprietary and sensitive business information of all our clients. To that end, Sinclair will not:

  • Disclose proprietary information
  • Disclose sensitive business information which could affect profitability, market share or revenues
  • Disclose the name of a client if requested to keep it confidential

In addition, Sinclair will execute reasonable confidentiality agreements with clients if requested.

For its own marketing purposes, Sinclair reserves the right to  disclose the general nature of a consulting engagement, as long as such disclosure does not reveal proprietary and sensitive business information as per the above policy.  For examples of such disclosure, see What Can We Do For You?
